  • KORYO Air Opens New Hub - 5th June, 2016 Accra

 

Today saw KORYO Air Group member KORYO Air open a brand new hub in Accra - Ghana West Africa. The hub has been developed to provide dedicated feed to the Long Haul services of both KORYO Air and its Mongolian subsidiary MONGOL Jet, as well as provide travellers with regional flying around Africa. The hub will boast 2 Airbus A319 and 2 Antonov 148 aircraft by the end of 2016 and will offer services to over 20 points across North/West/Central Africa. There are plans in 2017 to introduce an Airbus A330 to serve major trunk routes to South Africa and her neighbouring countries.

  • KORYO Air SuperJumbo - 4th June, 2016 Pyongyang

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Earlier today, KORYO Air announced an order for a further two Airbus A380 SuperJumbos. The aircraft are both expected to join the fleet in 2017 and will be used to increase capacity on KORYO Air's most popular routes to Europe. London will become the first airport to enjoy Twice Daily Airbus A380 services from 2nd April, 2017. The aircraft will be configured with 28 Magnolia (First) Class, 75 Pegasus (Business), 40 Star Traveller (Premium Economy) and 480 Explorer (Economy) class seats, and will be equipped with the very lastest inflight entertainment system to include live news feed from Korean and Global broadcasters.

  • KORYO Connect to add Sukhoi Superjet's - 1st June, 2016 Samjiyeon

 

KORYO Connect a wholly owned subsidiary of the KORYO Air Group, has announced an order for an additional 6 Sukhoi Superjets, which will be used to expand the airlines regional network from both Moscow's Vnukovo and Brussels National Hubs. Both airports will benefit from additional frequencies on existing routes as well as the introduction of new routes to bring better connections for customers wishing to travel to Asia and beyond.
